All the listenings are repeated so you hear them twice. There are 4 parts to the Cambridge First Certificate and Cambridge Advanced Exams. The listen part lasts 40 minutes. You are given 5 minutes to transfer your answers to the answer sheet at the end of the listening
- It’s very important to read the questions and possible answers before listening to the recording. Try to guess what might be the correct answer.
- Remember that the answers on paper will often be worded in a different way to the corresponding section of the listening. This means that you’re not looking for the actual word, but sentences and phrases with the same meaning.
- The first time you listen write answer and then the second time you listen check to see if it is correct.
- Make sure you keep listening the second time the listening is played, even if you think you’ve done it perfectly.
