K) Of course. Could you tell what it’s about, please?
D) Yes. I’m here with Telemobileplus and we have special package for hotels at the moment which includes discounts on landlines and mobile phones used for the business.
K) The person you need to talk to is …………… . She’s our general manager. If you could wait two minutes. I’ll just check if she’s available.
D) Thanks
K) If you’d like to come through to her office she has a couple of minutes before her next meeting.
D) Great. thanks.
L) Hello. Take a seat. I don’t really have any time so if you could keep it brief that would be great.
D) That’s fine. This won’t take long. I work for telemobileplus. We’re currently doing a campaign for hotels which would mean very low prices for landline calls, mobile calls and broadband internet with multiple wifi connections. Could I ask you what phone company the hotel uses at the moment?
L) We’re on talk2talk and we’re quite happy.
D) Our offer is the cheapest on the market at the moment. If I could take a few details I’ll be able to give you a clear idea of costs. How many separate landline connections do you have?
L) 20 in the rooms, 2 in the office and 2 in reception. That’s 24.
D) And do staff have work mobiles?
L) The managers have work mobiles so we just have 4.
D) Do all your rooms have a wifi connection?
L) No. We have 4 Wifi boxes in total.
D) Could you give me a rough estimation of how much you’re paying at the moment per month?
L) It varies between 400 and 600 pounds per month depending on how busy we are. I really have go now so…
